Jose Hernandez graduated from Western State College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Prior to attending law school, he had the privilege of pursuing a career as a professional baseball player. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009 and successfully participated in the Major League Baseball draft. During his time in law school, he was honored with the Marcy Blanchard Wilbur Award for outstanding leadership and academic achievements.
